Hyundai Chungun High School Program

Students this year will be visiting from Ulsan, South Korea for our program focused on Global Leadership, American Culture and the English language.

Hyundai Chungun H.S. is one of the most academically challenging and prestigious high schools in South Korea. Graduates from Hyundai Chungun enroll in South Korea’s best universities and go on after graduation to such distinguished positions as top executives, government employees, and politicians.

To participate in our program, students are selected through a competitive process and received full scholarships. Students range in age between 15 and 17 years old.

During the program, students will work on their communication skills in the classroom and home to prepare them for presentations at the end of the program. students also participate in numerous activities such as volunteering in the community, and visiting Oregon landmarks and historical centers learning about Oregon and American culture.

Please contact the American Education Center staff if you or someone you know would like to participate in cultural exchange by hosting a student from Hyundai Chungun High School this summer.

Program Dates: July 13th – August 3rd, 2015

Program Duration: 22 days
